Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Closeli uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. Everything except the strictly necessary ones is off by default and only starts after you say yes on the banner. This is the complete list.
Strictly necessary, always on
These cannot be switched off, because without them you cannot sign in or submit a form safely. They set no advertising identifier and are never shared.
- Supabase auth session: keeps you signed in as you move around your dashboard. Cleared when you sign out.
- CSRF protection: stops another site submitting forms on your behalf.
- closeli-consent: remembers the choice you made on the cookie banner, so we stop asking.
Product analytics, off unless you allow it
If you accept, we load PostHog to see which parts of Closeli people actually use. It records the pages you view, the actions you take, and your device type, against a random identifier. It is not anonymous: it can distinguish you from another visitor, which is exactly why we ask first. If you decline, the PostHog script is never loaded at all.
Error diagnostics, off unless you allow it
If you accept, Sentry Session Replay records what happened on screen before a crash, so we can reproduce it. Declining still leaves basic crash reporting on: an error message, the page it happened on, and your browser version, with no recording of your session. We rely on that minimum to keep a dashboard your family depends on from staying broken.
What we never use
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking pixels. No data brokers. Nothing about you is sold or used to target you anywhere else on the internet.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Turning a category off stops that service loading from your next page view. You can also clear cookies in your browser, though that only removes what is already stored rather than preventing it being set again.
